Hard to believe we are already at issue eleven.

I’m very pleased with the hosting company we are using this time around. Our releases tend to be rather large in file size, but the speed of the sever has been fantastic — which balances it out much better than where we were hosting the site previously. I felt like the site could be quite sluggish during the first launch, but that definitely isn’t the case this time around.

In other news, issue #31 will be colored this week. Onward and upward!

Luckthorn issue number nine is now up for the reading. This particular issue is actually as far as the original telling had gone.  Luckthorn started out as a story that was made up on the fly one evening between my wife and I. It had us amused to the point that we knew we had to expand upon it somehow. Over the course of a few years it eventually developed into what you see today. For that reason, I’ll always view this issue as the point of origin for the whole tale.

There probably won’t be a Casca Tales to come out any time soon. Time restraints are narrowing my focus down to Luckthorn, but in time I’m certain there will be more.

Released a new Luckthorn this morning. In this issue, we learn more about the Boarians.

I also got a little more done on the next Casca Tales. It’ll be up very soon.

Glad to see Winter is near, most scowl at me for saying it… but I love Winter. Long nights, good food and lots of parties. Hope everyone has a good holiday season!

Just released issue number six of Luckthorn today. As promised, there’ll be a new Casca Tales this week as well. Not sure exactly when, but definitely this week. I have ti all drawn out, just need to clean it up a bit and add some color. Be sure to check back in soon for that one!

I’m proud to announce (and relieved) that we are finally finished with the laborious task of re-mastering Luckthorn! This is especially good news since we are only at issue four on our release schedule. Next week I’ll begin working on brand new content, starting at issue twenty-eight. Since we’re working this far ahead, it will be easy for us to finish Luckthorn seamlessly through to the end.

Not to toot my own horn, but you won’t want to miss out on this. The story has evolved in ways we never anticipated and will be even better than planned. Be sure to pop by once a week to keep up!

For all of you mythology junkies: You should start to see all sorts of references to various myths and folklore woven into our story. So if you keep your eyes peeled you just may have an “ah-ha!” moment here and there as we progress in our tale.
